Michael Hedtstück, editor-in-chief FINANCE : The best after-road show beer is available in the BrauStil in Nordend
„Frankfurt is much better than its image. The city is by no means just black and grey, just like the weather in Hamburg or the investors‘ suits. Frankfurt is colourful! Thanks to the airport and the large financial sector, the city is very international and multicultural. You can meet interesting people everywhere. And yet the city is small enough to offer short distances. At the end there is a lot to discover – especially outside the bankers‘ quarter „Westend“.
- The best after-roadshow beer is available in Braustil in Nordend. A small craft beer brewery, housed in an old petrol station. Beer is available exclusively from the day menu, always fresh – a nice way to end the day, especially in summer. Localist tip: You can also meet CFOs in private wildlife…
- The best curries are available at Rama V near the Konstablerwache – authentically prepared and in a cosy atmosphere. Half as expensive and twice as cosy as in the Westend.
- The best atmosphere prevails in the Commerzbank Arena at a home match of Eintracht Frankfurt. There are „the best fans of the league“ (Niko Kovac) – he is right! And if Eintracht wins, the party will move to the apple wine taverns in Alt-Sachsenhausen afterwards.
- If you need other input than beer, sports or food after the roadshow, I recommend the Schirn. In the Kunsthalle there are changing exhibitions, always packed into exciting background stories, and several times a week there are public guided tours in the evenings without advance notice. Perfect for the spontaneous art shot after work!“
